About St Saviour's Church
St Saviour’s Church is a Church of England church in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It is situated on Gladstone Road, in the western part of the town, and continues to serve as an Anglican place of worship.
Construction began in 1901 and was completed the following year. John Thomas Micklethwaite designed the red-brick building in the neo-Gothic style, with the nave and chancel forming a single space. Its interior includes an aisle on the south side, divided from the main body by arches resting on eight-sided stone piers. In 2025, proposals were made to adapt the neighbouring church hall into eleven flats.
