About Holy Nativity
Holy Nativity is a Church of England parish church on Westway in Eastfield, Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It remains a place of parish worship today. The interior has a light, open character, with generous space and restrained decoration.
Constructed in brick from 1954 to 1955, the church was designed by Francis Johnson in an understated modern style. Johnson also planned alterations completed in 1973. These added a hall with its own kitchen and cloakroom facilities. The former kitchen, cloakrooms and stage were then adapted to create a vestry and a chapel.
