St. Andrew's Church is an Anglican parish church on Church Street in Taunton, Somerset. It serves a parish in the Wiveliscombe and the Hills benefice, under the Diocese of Bath and Wells. Its architectural and historic importance is recognised through its Grade II* designation.
Richard Carver designed the present structure, which was erected during 1827–29 where a medieval predecessor had stood. Red sandstone walls are complemented by Hamstone details and covered by slate roofing. The plan includes an aisle divided into five sections, while a three-level tower occupies the west end. The original gallery was later adapted to house the organ, and a rose window was installed in 1915. Surviving furnishings include a font dating to the fourteenth century, retained from the former building, and memorials to Humphrey Wyndham and his wife. Outside, a fourteenth-century churchyard cross retains its octagonal footing and narrowing stem, but not its original top.
