About St John the Baptist

It remains part of the local parish structure and belongs to a group that also includes churches in Askham, Grove and Headon-cum-Upton. The church is designated Grade I, recognising its exceptional architectural or historical significance.

Dating from the medieval period, the church was built around 1350.
