The Parish of All Saints, North Street is an active Church of England parish in York, North Yorkshire. Standing on North Street, it is protected at Grade I. Services are held on Sundays at 5.30 pm and Thursdays at 12.30 pm.
Built around 1150, the church retains a twelfth-century nave, thirteenth-century arcades and an eastern section reconstructed during the fourteenth century, when chapels were added beside the chancel. A fifteenth-century anchorite’s cell at the western end allowed its occupant to follow Mass through an opening in the wall; the structure was reconstructed in 1910. Extensive work in 1866–67 included a rebuilt south aisle wall, a porch, vestry, replacement roofing, seating and a new organ by Forster and Andrews. Further restoration followed in 1991. Notable fittings include a pulpit from 1675 and a chancel screen installed in 1906. The medieval stained glass includes windows illustrating the Acts of Mercy and signs preceding the Last Judgement.
