About All Saints Church

All Saints Church is an active Church of England parish church on Church Lane in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. The church holds Grade II* listed status. It also belongs to an informal association of five churches situated around the A453, alongside churches in Gotham, Barton in Fabis, Kingston on Soar and Ratcliffe-on-Soar.

The building has origins in the 13th century. Architect George Edmund Street directed substantial work in 1870, when the chancel was reconstructed and the nave repaired, followed by a wider restoration in 1871. Further conservation took place in 2004, focusing on repairs to the tower. A stone font stands in the churchyard and is separately protected at Grade II. Historically, Thrumpton was attached to Ratcliffe until the 16th century. Since 1950, the parish has shared its priest with neighbouring communities.
