St Paul’s is a Church of England church in Colton, York, North Yorkshire. It serves as a place of Anglican worship in the village, with Holy Communion celebrated once each month. Its continuing service reflects the establishment of a local church for Colton’s Anglican community at the close of the nineteenth century.
Before the church opened, Anglican residents of Colton attended services at All Saints’ Church in nearby Bolton Percy. St Paul’s was built in 1899, providing the village with its own place of worship. Architects Walter Brierley and James Demaine prepared the design. The building is constructed of red brick and has a simple single-cell plan, with the worship space contained within one main structure.
