St Margaret’s is an Anglican place of worship belonging to the Church of England. It stands at Harwood Dale in North Yorkshire, serving this rural English village.
Dating from 1862, the church took the place of the older Old St Margaret’s nearby. Its modest plan is rectangular and reflects Early English Gothic design. Inside, the nave flows directly into the chancel, which finishes in a rounded sanctuary at the eastern end. Pointed lancet openings light the building, and an entrance porch projects from the southern side. A stone bell housing rises above the roof at an angle to the main structure. This square feature holds a single bell and is topped by a short, slender spire.
