About St Faith

St Faith is a Grade II listed Church of England church in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Plans announced by the Diocese of Portsmouth in October 2013 proposed its closure and the joining of its parish with neighbouring churches in a team ministry. By 2021, it belonged to the combined parish of All Saints, Gurnard, with St Faith, Cowes. The priest responsible for nearby Northwood also served this parish, and Anglican services were no longer conducted in the building.

The church dates from 1909 and was designed by architect J. Standen Adkins. Princess Beatrice formally set its foundation stone in place on 13 May that year. The building also contains an organ for which a documented specification is held by the National Pipe Organ Register.
