Lighthouse Church | St Mary’s is an active Church of England parish church on Tyburn Road in Pype Hayes, Birmingham. The present community was formed in 2022 when the existing congregation joined a team from Gas Street Church. Sunday services include provision for children and young people, with an all-age worship gathering on the first Sunday of each month. The church is Grade II listed.
Edwin Francis Reynolds designed the red-brick building in 1927, and C. Bryant and Son completed its construction during 1929 and 1930 at a cost of £20,415. Proceeds from selling the former St Mary’s site in Birmingham’s Whittall Street financed the work. The church and adjoining hall were listed together in October 1995. Inside is an organ made by Nicholson and Lord in 1900.
