Church of The Holy Trinity & St. Luke is a Greek Orthodox place of worship on Park Approach in Erdington, Birmingham. It is dedicated jointly to the Trinity and Luke the Evangelist. The parish marks the saint’s annual celebration on 18 October and holds liturgies on Sundays and important holy days.
Established in 1983, the congregation first met in Anglican premises at Sutton Coldfield. Plans made in 1992 led to its transfer to a Cypriot community centre in Erdington. Gregorios, then Archbishop of Thyateira, formally consecrated the new worship space on 22 October 1995. A programme of refurbishment commenced in 2007. This work repaired the roof, fitted a replacement ceiling and added wall paintings in the Byzantine tradition, showing scenes from the Bible.
