St Peter and St Paul's Church, Clare serves as a Church of England parish church in Clare, near Sudbury in Suffolk. It remains part of the parish shared with Poslingford and the wider Stour Valley Benefice. Recognised for its exceptional historic and architectural importance, the building holds Grade I listed status and ranks among the more substantial churches in eastern England.
Originating in the 13th century, around 1250, the building largely took shape during the 1300s and early 1400s. Its western tower is Perpendicular Gothic, while later work included renewal of the nave during the 1440s, repairs to the chancel in 1617 and Victorian restoration. Distinctive fittings include an eagle-shaped brass lectern supported by three dogs, carved Jacobean seating in the choir and two historic enclosed pews. The tower contains eight bells, including a bell thought to date from about 1410 and a 28 cwt tenor remade in 1893.
