It belongs to the Church of England, has Grade II* protection and follows the High Anglican tradition. The congregation is associated with Forward in Faith.

A doorway on the southern side survives from Norman times. The nave and aisle to the north display Perpendicular Gothic architecture, while the chancel and adjoining northern chapel were completed in 1883.
