About St Luke's Church
St Luke’s Church is a Church of England parish church serving Stoke Bardolph in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It shares its parish with Holy Trinity at Bulcote and St Helen’s at Burton Joyce, forming part of a group of three local churches.
The church was constructed in 1844 using unadorned brick, giving the building a simple architectural character. Changes were made in 1910, when the chancel was altered and enlarged. These two phases, the original mid-nineteenth-century construction and the early twentieth-century work, account for the principal details recorded in the building’s history.
