About St Andrew's Church
St Andrew’s Church is a Church of England parish church on Mansfield Road in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It is protected as a Grade II* listed building. In 2023, the parish became part of Trinity Church Nottingham, which had been established on Mansfield Road in 2016 through the HTB network.
Constructed from 1869 to 1871 under William Knight, the church originated as a daughter congregation of St Ann’s Church. Sidney Roberts Stevenson enlarged the building in 1884. Its stained glass was created by Heaton, Butler and Bayne. The organ incorporates historic pipes made by John Snetzler in 1777, originally used at St Mary’s Church in Nottingham. Installed here in 1871, it was rebuilt several times between 1876 and 1934, with Roger Yates adding a Tuba stop in 1926.
