About St Peter & St Paul Church
St Peter & St Paul Church is an Anglican parish church in Watford, Northamptonshire, standing beside Church Street. It continues to serve the parish within the Church of England and shares a benefice with the churches of Long Buckby, West Haddon and Winwick. The church has Grade I listed status.
Originating around 1300, most of the surviving fabric was added across the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Changes were subsequently made during the 1700s and 1800s. The plan comprises a nave bordered by an aisle on either side, a chancel with an adjoining northern chapel, two porches and a tower at the west end. Parish records dating back to 1565 are held by the Northamptonshire Record Office.
