About All Saints, Lamport w Faxton

All Saints, Lamport w Faxton is an active Church of England parish church in Lamport, near Northampton in Northamptonshire. Located along the northern side of High Street, it has Grade I listed status. The parish belongs to a united benefice comprising nine parishes, most of which continue to have their own church.

The earliest parts were constructed during the 12th and 13th centuries. Its tower survives from the medieval period, while other sections reflect substantial work carried out between the 17th and 19th centuries. A northern chapel was added in 1672, followed by the rebuilding of the chancel and construction of the aisles from 1737. Francis Smith of Warwick, or members of his family, designed the chancel and southern porch. G. F. Bodley designed the vestry, completed in 1879. Inside are memorials to the Isham family of Lamport Hall, along with a monument and communion silver transferred from Faxton after its church was demolished in 1958.
