About St Lawrence's Church, Lincoln
St Lawrence’s Church, Lincoln was a medieval church in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. It stood within the historic central district, an area extending along the High Street and linking the lower city with Steep Hill and the old town above. The church has been demolished and is therefore neither an active parish church nor a surviving listed building.
The church belonged to Lincoln’s group of medieval places of worship, several of which have since disappeared. It is recorded alongside other lost churches in the central area, including St Cuthbert’s, St George’s, Holy Trinity, St Edmund’s and St Stephen-in-Newland.
