About All Saints
All Saints stands on Monks Road in Lincoln and serves as a Church of England parish church. It is within the Deanery of Christianity and the Diocese of Lincoln. Built in 1903, the church is protected as a Grade II listed building.
Charles Hodgson Fowler designed the building in an Early Decorated architectural style. Its interior includes a rood screen, ornamental details and coloured windows created by Ninian Comper during the opening decades of the twentieth century. An altar stone brought from Bardney Abbey is another notable feature. The pipe organ was made about 1906 by Henry Willis of London and has undergone later renovation and alteration. It has gained a reputation as one of the leading instruments of its kind in Lincolnshire.
