About St Paul's

St Paul’s is an active Church of England parish church in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, within the Diocese of Sheffield. It stands where Norton Lees Lane meets Angerford Avenue, on higher ground near Meersbrook Park. The church also incorporates spaces used by the local community.

Construction took place from 1875 to 1877. In 1935, growing attendance prompted substantial alterations by C. B. Flockton, including the addition of wide aisles on both the north and south sides. A further redevelopment followed in 2006 and 2007. Fixed pews were taken out and modern seating installed, while the vestry and other rooms were updated to provide community facilities.
