About All Saints Church
All Saints Church is a Church of England parish church on Church Road in Bridgwater, Somerset. It remains part of an Anglican parish and is protected as a Grade I listed building.
Much of the church dates from the 15th and 16th centuries, although the south wall of the chancel was constructed around 1320. The three-stage tower followed in about 1440, while the north aisle dates to 1535. Notable fittings include an octagonal font from the 15th century, a 16th-century chest and stained glass produced by William Morris’s company. The tower contains a bell cast by George Purdue in 1606.
