About West Bridgford Methodist Church

West Bridgford Methodist Church is a place of Methodist worship in West Bridgford, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Today, the Grade II listed church belongs to the Nottingham South circuit within the Methodist Church of Great Britain. It was previously known as Musters Road Methodist Church.

The congregation developed from the former chapel on Arkwright Street. Land for the new premises was acquired during 1887 and 1888, with a school constructed before the church itself. The present building dates from 1899 and was designed by Nottingham architect Richard Charles Sutton. Henry Clarke donated its organ, bells and tower clock, while the stained glass in the east window was the gift of Mr and Mrs W. Maggs.
