St Wilfrid's Church is an active Church of England parish church on Duchy Road in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. It has Grade I listed status and is the only building in Harrogate with this designation. Recognised as a Major Parish Church, it is also ranked as England’s 38th largest parish church.
Construction began in 1904, supported initially by a bequest from the Bishop of Ripon’s estate. Temple Lushington Moore designed the building, with the nave and baptistry dedicated in 1908 and the church consecrated in 1914. Fifteen painted plaster Stations of the Cross by local sculptor Frances Darlington were added between 1913 and 1917. After Moore’s death, Leslie Moore completed the transepts in 1927 and designed the contrasting Lady Chapel, finished in 1935. A Harrison and Harrison organ was placed in the north transept in 1928, following the outline of Moore’s 1912 design. The church hall has a lamella roof described as unique in the United Kingdom.
