About Holy Trinity Church, Boltby
Holy Trinity Church, Boltby is a Church of England parish church in the North Yorkshire village of Boltby. The church also serves as a chapel of ease for St Felix’s Church in nearby Felixkirk.
A chapel was established on the site in 1409, with a rebuilding completed in October 1802. The building underwent restoration by John Atkinson of York and reopened for worship in January 1856; its furnishings were produced by French of Bolton-le-Moors. Although William Burn has also been credited with rebuilding the church in 1859, contemporary newspaper accounts do not record this work. A porch was added in 1907. Surviving parish records extend back to about 1600.
