St David Lewis & St Francis Xavier Parish Church is a Roman Catholic place of worship on Porthycarne Street, close to the centre of Usk in Monmouthshire. Dedicated to the Jesuit saints Francis Xavier and David Lewis, it remains a parish church and is protected as a Grade II listed building. David Lewis, who served Catholics in Monmouthshire, was buried nearby after his execution in 1679.
The present Gothic Revival church dates from 1847 and was designed by Charles Hansom. Local solicitor Francis McDonnell provided the site and funded half of the building costs. It opened on 14 October that year, replacing an earlier chapel on the same street. Hardman & Co. supplied windows during the 1850s and 1860s, and Hansom’s tower was added in 1865. A shrine honouring St David Lewis was dedicated inside the church in November 2019.
