St Mary’s Church is a Church of England parish church on Main Road, at the heart of Portskewett in Monmouthshire. It remains an active place of worship, with services taking place each Sunday. The church has held Grade I listed status since 19 August 1955, recognising its considerable historic and architectural importance.
Built in 1301, the church incorporates an earlier Norman nave and other substantial work from the same period. Its chancel is medieval, while the overall architectural character is Decorated Gothic. The building underwent enlargement and renovation during both the early and later parts of the 19th century. Records of its rectors survive from 1427, and the parish registers begin in 1593.
