Dating principally from the 13th century, the church is constructed from limestone rubble finished with dressed ashlar and combines Early English and Perpendicular Gothic architecture. The nave’s southern side was reconstructed around 1400, while the chancel was rebuilt and the north aisle enlarged in 1873. An organ was installed during the same works.
