About All Saints' Church
All Saints’ Church is an active Church of England parish church on Elizabeth Street in Preston, Lancashire. It has an evangelical Anglican tradition and belongs to the Diocese of Blackburn, within the Preston deanery and Lancaster archdeaconry. The church is recognised for its architectural and historic interest as a Grade II listed building.
Constructed between 1846 and 1848 at a cost of £2,000, the church was designed in the Classical style. Its principal frontage has a portico crowned by a pediment and supported by six columns of the Ionic order. It was among a small number of English churches funded through public subscriptions and established with private patronage.
