St Mary the Virgin Church is an active parish church on Maidstone Road in Nettlestead, Kent. It belongs to the Church of England and is protected as a Grade I listed building. Roman Catholic worshippers also use the building, with Mass taking place before the Anglican Sunday service.
Work on the church began during the 13th century, and its western square tower is the sole surviving element from that period. Built from locally quarried ragstone, it has narrow lancet openings and a shingled pyramidal roof. The nave dates from around 1438, the chancel from about 1460, and the south porch from roughly 1496. Notable features include medieval stained glass funded by the Pympe family of nearby Nettlestead Place, a 15th-century screen transferred from Teston, and wall memorials to Elizabeth Scott and Katharine Scott. The lychgate commemorates those lost in the two World Wars.
