All Saints is an active Church of England parish church on Queens Road in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Its prominent spire can be seen across much of the island and from the mainland. Sometimes known as the island’s cathedral, the church is protected as a Grade II* listed building.
George Gilbert Scott designed the stone church, which was constructed from 1868 to 1872 in an elaborate Gothic style, with dressed masonry detailing and six-bay arcades. The spire followed in 1881–82, while C Pemberton-Leach added the vestry in 1891. Notable features include painted chancel walls by Clayton and Bell, two side chapels, and a prize-winning Derbyshire alabaster pulpit supported on polished marble. Eight bells, made in Loughborough in 1866, hang in the tower, and the organ was built by Henry Willis in 1874. Some stained glass survives in the sanctuary and north aisle, although other windows were lost during enemy action in the Second World War.
