Saint Mary's Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Clapham, south London, within the Archdiocese of Southwark. Standing on Clapham Park Road at the edge of Clapham Common, close to the Underground station, it is served by the Redemptorist Congregation’s London province. The church remains active and holds Grade II* listed status.
Nicholas Wiseman, then a bishop and later a cardinal, founded the church and laid its foundation stone in 1849. William Wardell designed the building in the Gothic Revival style, while John Francis Bentley created its fittings. Construction was completed in 1851, and Wiseman blessed the church on 14 May that year. It adjoins a Redemptorist monastery, which is separately listed at Grade II*.
