Ravenscourt Baptist Church is a Baptist church at 7 Ravenscourt Road in Hammersmith, London, close to Ravenscourt Park Underground station. Its present church and associated halls continue a Baptist presence in the area that can be traced to the eighteenth century.
Baptists were meeting in Hammersmith by 1768, and used a meeting house on King Street from 1788. The congregation was formally established in 1793 and was known as West End Baptist Church for more than two centuries. A larger building followed in 1851, with alterations completed in 1902. Maintenance difficulties led to new premises on Ravenscourt Road. Foundation stones were laid in 1971, three of them brought from the earlier church, and historic documents were enclosed within the structure. The present complex opened in 1972 and included a 240-seat chapel, one large hall and two smaller halls.
