Truro Cathedral, completed in 1910, was the first Anglican cathedral built on a new site in England since the Middle Ages, and its three spires give Cornwall's only city a distinctly continental silhouette. Around it, the city's Methodist inheritance remains strong, as it does across Cornwall.
