English Baptist Church is a Baptist place of worship on Lammas Street in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. Positioned within a courtyard behind the roadside, it stands on land formerly occupied by the Black Horse Inn. The building has been protected at Grade II* since 1981. In 2022, the church established Cegin Hedyn, a community canteen where diners contributed according to their means; over 3,000 meals were provided during its first year.
George Morgan, an architect based in Carmarthen, designed the church as his earliest significant project. Construction took place during 1869 and 1870, costing £1,400. Its imposing classical front is faced in Bath stone, with a columned porch reached by generous stone stairs. Within, an inclined gallery is carried on iron supports and finished with cast-iron edging. Decorative planting motifs and fluting appear on the arch beyond. Historic furnishings and timber panelling remain, while an organ installed in 1887 occupies its own specially constructed gallery.
