Our Lady of mount Carmel is an active Roman Catholic parish church on Beoley Road West in central Redditch, Worcestershire. Standing between the road and Holloway Lane, it forms a parish in its own right and remains under the Archdiocese of Birmingham. The church is protected as a Grade II-listed building.
Catholic worship around Redditch continued after the Reformation, first at Beoley and later at Chapel Farm, Heath Green, from 1783. Lady Catherine Smythe purchased the present site, and the foundation stone was set in place on 11 February 1833. Built during 1833 and 1834, the church was created in the Gothic Revival manner by Thomas Rickman and is his sole Roman Catholic church design. It opened on 24 April 1834. Hardman & Co carried out restoration work in 1872. Benedictines from Downside Abbey initially served the parish, followed by priests from Belmont Abbey between 1948 and 1968.
