Christchurch stands at 21 The Grove in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. It is a Grade II-listed church shared through an ecumenical partnership between the United Reformed and Methodist traditions. Services are held at 10.30 am on Thursdays and 3.30 pm on Sundays.
James Law, then Mayor of Bradford, laid the foundation stone on 30 May 1868. Designed by Darlington architect James Pigott Pritchett Jr, the complex included the church, a school and accommodation for its keeper, with Gothic detailing influenced by the Early Decorated period. Worship began in the new building on 16 June 1869. Its tower had been completed that year, while the 130-foot spire followed later. A Potts of Leeds clock, donated by T. P. Muff of Woodbank, was added to the tower in 1891. The church received a Forster and Andrews organ in 1873, replaced by a Harrison and Harrison instrument in 1911, though that organ is no longer present.
