Cropredy Methodist Chapel is a Methodist church at 3 Chapel Lane in Cropredy, Oxfordshire. It continues the presence of the village’s Wesleyan congregation, whose origins date to about 1822. The present church replaced an earlier chapel after the congregation required a larger place of worship.
Edward Pincher, an architect based in West Bromwich, designed the new chapel to accommodate 200 people. Its foundation stones were set in place on Easter Monday, 18 April 1881, and construction was finished that August. Thomas Cherry, a Cropredy builder, carried out the work under the supervision of Caleb Mander from Banbury. The church opened for worship on 26 August 1881, with the Reverend F. J. Sharr of London delivering the sermon. It also contains an organ recorded by the National Pipe Organ Register.
