St Bartholomew's Church serves as the Church of England parish church for Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland. It belongs to the Diocese of Newcastle and occupies a prominent position on a headland. The church remains an active place of worship and is protected as a Grade I listed building.
The present building has its origins in the thirteenth century. After falling into ruin by the 1700s, its nave and chancel underwent restoration in 1845. W. S. Hicks designed a replacement arch at the entrance to the chancel and an organ chamber, both added in 1898. The north aisle was reconstructed in 1912. The church also housed a pipe organ with two manuals, made by Nelson & Co. in about 1910.
