St Simon and St Jude is a Roman Catholic church in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. The church is protected as a Grade II listed building, a designation granted in 1985.
The Scrope family of nearby Danby Hall continued practising Catholicism after the Reformation, holding Mass discreetly within their home. In 1788, they established a chapel on the former site of an early 18th-century cockpit, adding a crypt for family burials. Joseph Hansom substantially rebuilt and enlarged the church in 1865, using a Byzantine architectural style and connecting it to the presbytery. Built from stone beneath a stone-slate roof, the irregular cross-shaped structure has transepts and is orientated with its liturgical east towards the north. Notable features include an eight-sided bell tower at the western end, a three-light window on the north side, and the surviving Georgian crypt.
