Church life in Glasgow

Glasgow grew around the shrine of St Mungo, and its medieval cathedral survived the Reformation almost intact, a rarity on the Scottish mainland. The city's church life today is Scotland's most varied: Catholic and Church of Scotland parishes, large evangelical congregations, and churches serving African, Asian and Eastern European communities across the city.
