St Mary’s is a Church of England parish church on Borwick Lane, north of Borwick in Lancashire. It continues to serve as a place of Anglican worship and belongs to the Diocese of Blackburn. The parish is joined with those of St Oswald’s in Warton and St John the Evangelist in Yealand Conyers. The building has Grade II listed status.
William Sharp of Linden Hall commissioned the church in remembrance of his wife, who died in 1889. Constructed from 1894 to 1896, it was consecrated on 24 June 1896. Its Gothic Revival design features rough stone walls, finer cut-stone detailing and tiled roofs. The layout includes a nave, northern entrance porch, chancel and vestry to the south, while a compact bell opening crowns the western gable. Inside are an eight-sided font, brass reading stand, brass light fitting and Gothic reredos. A Hall of Kendal organ, formerly used by a Congregational congregation in Warrington, was added in 1964.
