Stanborough Centre is an active Seventh-day Adventist church at 609 St Albans Road, within Stanborough Park in Watford, Hertfordshire. Its regular Saturday service begins at 9:45 am. Church activities include a toy service established in 1961, fortnightly Sunday morning Pathfinder meetings and Saturday afternoon sessions. Members also organise a quarterly sale for charitable causes and a weekly Friday soup run.
The original church’s foundation stone was placed on 14 November 1927. Dr Rubel, who worked at the nearby sanatorium, was instrumental in securing its construction. W. H. Meredith, then president of the British Union Conference, conducted the dedication on 22 July 1928. The park was formerly associated with several Adventist organisations, including administrative offices, a food factory, publishing facilities, a Bible school, a theological college and a sanatorium. In 2001, the Stanborough Centre was constructed, providing four additional halls beside the earlier church.
