About Williamwood Parish Church
Williamwood Parish Church is situated at 4 Vardar Avenue in Clarkston, East Renfrewshire. Clarkston lies in Scotland’s Central Lowlands, at the southern edge of the wider Glasgow urban area, close to Busby, Netherlee, Giffnock and Newton Mearns.
The church takes its name from Williamwood, an area associated with the former Williamwood Estate. The estate was divided during the 1920s, enabling further residential growth. The available historical information does not establish when the church was founded or provide details of its architecture, materials, rebuilding, restoration or notable internal features.
