About Causeway Coast Vineyard Church
Causeway Coast Vineyard Church serves Coleraine, County Londonderry, as an active evangelical Protestant congregation. It belongs to Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland and the Evangelical Alliance. Laura Bell became senior pastor in October 2024. The church holds a Sunday service at 10.30am and records monthly attendance of around 700 people.
Founded in 1999 by a group of six, including Alan and Kathryn Scott, the church first met in their home. It later gathered in a Portstewart pub, at the University of Ulster’s Coleraine campus and in a former Dunnes retail unit in the town centre. In 2010, the trustees bought a seven-acre property at the former Aiken timber yard on Hillman’s Way. A purpose-built church complex opened there in 2012, costing £3 million and covering 33,000 square feet. The Hope Centre, an extension supporting the church’s community charity, was completed in April 2018.
