St Elli Church is a Church of England parish church at 6-8 Bridge Street in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, opposite Llanelly House. Dedicated to Saint Elli and also known as St Ellyw’s, it has served the parish since medieval times. The church was granted Grade II* status in 1964, reflecting the particular importance of its interior, furnishings and memorials.
Records refer to the parish as early as the eleventh century, while the surviving building is thought to date mainly from the fifteenth century. Its western tower is the earliest remaining section. George Frederick Bodley designed extensive additions, completed in 1905–06. The structure uses roughly dressed rubble masonry with contrasting red sandstone details, green slate roofing and terracotta tiles along the ridges. Notable exterior features include a substantial southern porch, an eight-sided chimney between the nave and chancel roofs, and a tower with a clock, projecting parapet and northern stair turret.
